Student’s Learning General Supply List

My City School kindly requests that your student starts each school year with these items. Please purchase the following and have at your student’s fingertips daily.

Recommend storing the following to remain in their backpack:

  • Computing device and protective case (labeled)

  • 1 power cord for school (a second cord for home is useful)

  • 1 phone/camera device (labeled) for 7th & 8th graders

  • 2 Reusable water bottles - filled daily before school

  • Small hand sanitizer

  • K95 Mask

  • 1 set of utensils for eating

  • One set of 6 colored highlighters - Yellow, Orange, Pink, Green, Blue, and Purple (labeled) these colors correspond to our color coding system - each color is important

  • One set of colored ballpoint pens (labeled) - color is fine

  • Pack of tissues

In addition to the family supplied student supply list, MCS will provide all other learning, creative and safety materials needed for school. Please let us know if there is something special your child needs for support.

To be kept at school in their personal box:

  • One colored set of Dry Erase Markers (labeled)

  • Role of tape

  • a box of pencils they like to write with

  • Pouch for all writing utensils (this can go between home and school)

  • Gum or non-caffeine mints (optional)

  • 100 index cards

  • Spectrum Data Analysis & Probability Grades 6-8 workbook to be kept for 3 years

  • ​Spectrum Algebra Grades 6-8 workbook to be kept for 3 years

  • Spectrum Geometry Grades 6-8 workbook (to be kept for 3 years)

  • To bring on Fridays only

  • 1 yoga mat

  • Box of labeled snacks (we are very active)

  • Backup lunch (frozen or cans of soup)
