Summer Bridge Program
Each summer, My City School offers an intensive Summer Bridge Program focused on remediation and foundational skill-building or grade-level content catch-up for students. This program supports students in closing academic gaps in reading, writing, math, visual processing, executive functioning, working memory, and critical thinking skills using multi-sensory, evidence-based techniques. We open our Bridge Program to students outside the My City School community, extending this opportunity to a broader network of learners.
Learn about our Bridge Program, which provides remediation and intensive foundational skill-building sessions for students in grades 3-8, as well as intervention training for educators. This program helps students close academic gaps in writing, reading, math, visual processing, critical thinking skills, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, working memory, executive functioning, and more.

WORKSHOPS
Here at My City School, we have a unique environment where a child's support team of parents, learning specialists, and tutors can learn together! Our trained specialists conduct parent/educator workshops throughout the year to strengthen skills like Writing, Math, Working Memory, Critical Thinking, Executive Functioning, and even Social Development for our students. At My City School, we also specialize in working with teaching teams to break down learning strategies for procedural and conceptual learners in and out of mainstream classrooms. This leads to a reduction in anxiety in students and adds to an increase in communication and understanding for each child's support team.
Our workshops are limited to 40 people per workshop. Please RSVP if you'd like to attend! We'd love to have you! If you are interested in our Professional Development workshops for your team or have a small parent group interested in a specific workshop, please e-mail jennifer@mycityschool.org.
MCS offers workshops in Framework Reading, Building Number Sense, Multi-Sensory Math, Reading, Writing, and Anxiety Reduction workshops, and more to give you the skills to help your child succeed in their learning environment.

Professional Development
Interested in our workshops or Professional Development for your staff? Read what one Learning Specialist said:
"This was one of the most valuable and hands-on professional development workshops I have attended in a while. If you're looking to learn new methodologies to support students in writing who learn differently, then this workshop is not to be missed. My City School is a wonderful asset to the educational community in San Francisco and makes their materials accessible and easy to use."
